As we celebrate a decade of dedication, innovation, and excellence, we reflect on our journey, the achievements we’ve made, and the incredible Michigan communities of Ann Arbor, Gaylord, New Hudson, and Traverse City that have supported us along the way.
From our humble beginnings in 2014, McComb & Company has grown into a team of 17 forward-thinking tax and accounting professionals. Over the past ten years, we have continually evolved to meet the changing needs of our clients, embracing new technologies and innovative practices to deliver strategic business advisory, financial analysis, tax planning, payroll and individual and business tax preparation.
Our Journey of a Decade! Key Milestones for McComb & Company
Several key milestones that have shaped who we are today:
2015 – Matthew purchased Spensley & Associates, Saline, MI, establishing McComb & Company
2017 – McComb & Company purchases HGS Corporation and moves practice to Ann Arbor from Saline
2022 – McComb & Company purchases AL Mitchel & Associates in Traverse city
- January Chris Haines becomes equity partner
- November Bryan Dunn comes on as equity partner
2023 – Derek Chavis comes on as equity partner.
- McComb & Company purchases Professional Tax Services in Gaylord, MI
2024 – McComb & Company purchases BW Smith & Company in New Hudson, MI
